About Professional EMS Education

Fidel O. Garcia, EMT-P

Fidel GarciaProfessional EMS Education was established in 2006 by Fidel O. Garcia.  Fidel started his EMS career in 1980 and worked 20 years for hospital based; private and volunteer ambulance agencies as well as a flight Paramedic for 10 years and EMS Education Coordinator for a Level II Trauma Center.

Fidel has been presenting at local, Regional, State and National EMS conferences for the past 18 years as well as providing CE programs in Colorado, Alaska, Utah and New Mexico.  Fidel has been providing EMS education for the last 30 years and has articles published in State EMS journal as well as writing for EMS textbook and is a frequent reviewer for ALS and BLS EMS textbooks.

David A. Gilmore, Jr., MD, Medical Director

Dr. Gilmore is the Director of Toxicology, CPMG Emergency Department physician for St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. He represents American Heart Association as an oversight editor, publications Emergency Cardiovascular Care Programs. He's a Clinical Associate Professor in Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine Division of Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Gilmore provides medical guidance and review for Professional EMS Education.
